Cracklesnap
Class: Stoker
The crackle snap is a forest dragon that lives for the smell of a campfire.  It collects various twigs, leaves and other kindling each night to build its nest, which it then ignites.  The Cracklesnap sleeps in this personal bonfire all night as the fire dies into a soft bed of ash and embers.  The Cracklesnap builds its nest in the same location every night, eventually creating a mound of ash.  Sometimes they will seek out a new place to build their nest, leaving behind an abandoned ash pile, like a giant anthill, to confuse anyone who might come upon it.

Finished up what I started in the stream!  Thanks to everyone who came by and sorry for the abrupt end.

So I’ve been playing around with some composition sketches in Krita. Gotta redo 2 other drawings cause I saved the WIPs in the wrong format, so all the layers were lost XD

More experiments. I think I prefer the black version, though I keep going back and forth….

WIP of something Im working on and my current setup in Krita (it changes a lot)  Im running Krita 2.9 pre-alpha.  Basically the latest, not-stable build.
I like to have a low clutter environment.  But I also like to have most of my tools easily accessible, with as little menu navigating and tabbing as possible.  These values can clash. Cuz I also like a fair amount of room to see all my layers, and brushes, and a large color selector (the bigger the color selector, the more colors you have, which is why I dont have any of the nice customizable color selector options).  I often mess with my environment depending on my mood and what I value most at the current time. I hope that one day I can have a comfortable desk and a big screen to work on, haha.  For now, this does fine :)

Was feeling bleh and artblocky, so I decided to do a prompt from the Wysp prompt generator.  The prompt was “The Thieves” and the challenge was “Draw an animal skull”.  Don’t think I got “thief” across very well, and that is a horribly inaccurate salamander skull, but hey, I painted something!
